QuES&T provided occupational safety and industrial hygiene consulting services for a Large Commercial Contractor located in the Hudson Valley of NY. The project began with development of a comprehensive site specific health and safety plan (HASP) to address a series of challenging and technically complex permit required confined space entries. Development of the plan included planning for all phases of the project including air sampling, site entry, technical rescue, emergency response, weather monitoring, employee training and record keeping.

In addition to the plan development, QuES&T provided onsite safety and IH consulting; including collection of air data and noise monitoring. QuES&T provided technical recommendations to the contractor regarding various safety issues, including PPE, Monitoring Equipment, Signage and Site Control. Daily drills with technical on site rescue personnel were conducted to maximize safety efforts. During the project, QuES&T interfaced with various local and state agencies resulting in the successful, safe completion of the project.
